I just started my second year at Rosa Parks, and I love being a member of this small, yet vibrant community. Rosa Parks quickly became my second family, which is a common theme among staff and students. So often, former students and staff come in for a visit, and know that they are always welcome.
I grew up in Southern California, and, since moving to Rochester in 2013, I’ve been in awe of beauty of Minnesota. In 1985, I earned a degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, and I worked in the industry for 12 years before become a mom. I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom, even homeschooling my kids for 13 years. My oldest graduated from college in 2016, and I have a daughter loving every minute of being a college student now.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my kids, including two fuzzy babies. In particular, I love to travel, read, and watch movies.
