Teacher Powered. Student Driven.
Math / Special Education Paraprofessional
Hello,
This is my first year at Rosa Parks CHS as a part-time Math teacher and part-time Special Education Para Professional. I am a 2009 R.O.C. Alumni and am excited to share with students my experiences as a student at R.O.C. that helped mold me to be the person I am today.
In 2009 I received my Cosmetology Degree where I worked as a Stylist for 4 years before going back to college. In 2016 I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I have a strong background in Psychological Research and presented my own research at the 2016 MPA conference in Chicago, IL and the 2016 NCUR conference in Asheville, NC,
When I am not at my Rosa Parks home or the salon I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love to be outdoors exploring, hiking, camping, fishing but most of all traveling. Any chance I get I am on a plane out West or across the Atlantic.
I am excited to be back to my roots working with students who have a passion for learning like I do. If you’re ever in the area stop by, let’s chat. Let me show you how our Rosa Parks Family can make you feel belonged.
